We may use personal information for the following purposes:
- providing, operating, maintaining, and improving the Services;

- preparing, fulfilling, shipping, tracking, and delivering orders;
- handling cancellations, returns, exchanges, refunds, and customer support;

We may also use information for another purpose that is disclosed to you when the information is collected, or with your consent where required.
4. HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Shopify, which hosts and supports our store and provides ecommerce, security, fraud-prevention, analytics, personalization, and advertising-related services.
- Payment processors and financial service providers to authorize payments, prevent fraud, process refunds, and complete transactions.
- Suppliers, fulfillment partners, warehouse operators, and carriers to prepare, route, ship, deliver, track, return, or replace orders.
- Technology and cloud service providers that support hosting, data storage, customer service, email delivery, reviews, website functionality, security, and performance.
- Analytics and advertising partners, including Google, Meta, Shopify, and similar providers, to measure activity, attribute sales, personalize services, and show or evaluate advertisements.
- Professional advisers, including accountants, auditors, insurers, consultants, and legal advisers.
- Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law, valid legal process, or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Parties to a business transaction in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
- Other parties at your direction or with your consent.
Service providers may process personal information only as permitted by their agreements with us and applicable law. Some third parties, such as payment providers, advertising platforms, social networks, and Shopify in certain circumstances, may act as independent businesses or controllers under their own privacy policies.
5. SHOPIFY AND SHOPIFY NETWORK INTELLIGENCE
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase from our store. Shopify may also process information about your interactions with Monnele, other Shopify merchants, and Shopify to provide and improve services such as fraud prevention, analytics, store performance, personalization, and advertising-related features.
When Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify may combine customer interaction data from our store with data from other merchants and Shopify to provide enhanced services. Certain uses, including advertising based on activity across different merchants or services, may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some U.S. state privacy laws.
Your information may be disclosed to Shopify and other parties located in countries other than where you live. You can learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and exercise certain choices directly through the Shopify Privacy Portal.
6. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to:
- operate the store and keep it secure;
- remember cart contents and customer preferences;
- enable checkout, payments, and account features;
- measure traffic and website performance;
- understand how visitors use the Services;
- measure advertising performance and attribution; and
- personalize content and advertising.
Strictly necessary technologies are used to provide requested functionality and protect the Services. Analytics, personalization, and advertising technologies may be controlled through our cookie banner, cookie preference tool, or data-sharing opt-out page where available or required.
For additional information about the technologies we use and available controls, review our Cookie Policy and select Cookie Preferences or Your Privacy Choices on our website.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Where required by applicable law and enabled through our configured privacy tools, we treat a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal.
Because there is no uniform industry standard for legacy "Do Not Track" browser signals, our website may not respond to those signals. We will continue to review available privacy signals and comply with applicable legal requirements.
7. TARGETED ADVERTISING; SALE OR SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Monnele does not sell personal information for money.
However, we use advertising, analytics, and ecommerce technologies that may disclose identifiers, device information, internet activity, commercial information, approximate location, and inferred interests to providers such as Google, Meta, and Shopify. Under certain U.S. state privacy laws, some of these disclosures may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or the processing of personal information for "targeted advertising," even when no money is exchanged.
Where applicable, you may opt out by selecting Your Privacy Choices or Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in our website footer, using our data-sharing opt-out page, enabling a recognized GPC signal, or emailing support@monnele.com.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
8. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
We may use your email address to send product news, offers, promotions, and recommendations where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contacting us at support@monnele.com.
We will process marketing-email opt-out requests within the period required by applicable law. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional or service communications necessary to process orders, provide customer support, deliver security notices, or administer your account.
9. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. The retention period depends on the type of information and why it was collected. We use the following criteria:
- order, transaction, refund, and payment records are retained as needed to fulfill purchases and satisfy tax, accounting, chargeback, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations;
- account information is retained while the account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, support, and legal purposes;
- customer support communications are retained as needed to resolve the request, maintain service records, and protect legal rights;
- marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe or we no longer need it for the disclosed purpose, subject to limited suppression records used to honor your opt-out;
- cookie and analytics data is retained according to the settings and retention periods of the relevant technology or provider; and
- information connected to fraud, security, disputes, or legal claims is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate, prevent harm, or establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, deidentify, or aggregate it, subject to technical limitations and legal requirements.
10. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. We also rely on Shopify and other service providers to maintain safeguards for the systems they operate.
No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Services are intended for a general adult audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact support@monnele.com. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child in a manner not permitted by law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES
The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, payment providers, social networks, and other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices and are not controlled by Monnele. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
13. INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING
Monnele, Shopify, and our service providers may process, store, or access personal information in countries other than the country or state where you live, including the United States, Canada, Brazil, countries in the European Economic Area, and other locations where our providers operate.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we and our providers use contractual, organizational, or other legally recognized safeguards for cross-border processing.
14. U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on your state of residence and whether the applicable law applies to Monnele, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- to confirm whether we process your personal information;
- to know and access the personal information we maintain about you;
- to receive a portable copy of certain personal information;
- to correct inaccurate personal information;
- to request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information;
- to opt out of targeted advertising;
- to opt out of certain profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, if we engage in such processing;
- to limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, where applicable;
- to appeal a decision we make regarding a privacy request, where applicable; and
- to receive equal service and not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.
These rights are not absolute. We may retain information when necessary to complete a transaction, detect fraud, maintain security, comply with a legal obligation, protect legal rights, or satisfy another exception permitted by law.

California residents may also request certain information regarding disclosures of personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes under California's "Shine the Light" law, where applicable.
16. HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
